Our Clientele

The University recognizes seven disability categories for which special support, accommodations or adaptive technologies can be considered. These are:

  • Attention-deficit or attention-deficit /hyperactivity disorder- ADD/ADHD
  • Hearing impairments or deafness
  • Learning disabilities
  • Medical conditions
  • Physical and mobility impairments
  • Psychological or psychiatric disabilities
  • Visual impairments or blindness

Whether such academic support, accommodations or access to adaptive technologies address physical, medical, learning or psychological disabilities, the primary objective is always to level the playing field for students with various disabilities, so they can meet program and course requirements, yet without compromising the integrity of those programs or courses.
