Employer Presentations

Employer presentations are one of the most effective recruitment tools at the University of Ottawa. Employers giving presentations during the 2004-2005 academic year enjoyed increased participation: our highest attendance rate was 180 students, and an average of 73 students attended most presentations.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet members of the student population and discuss with them career prospects within your organization.

Cost: Free

Services included:

  • reservation of a multimedia room (most of our rooms are equipped with a digital projector, computer, VHS, and wireless microphone)
  • technical assistance
  • on-campus visibility:
    • e-mail to targeted students
    • advertising on our website with a link to your website
    • postings on our bulletin boards and in strategic locations on campus
    • targeted promotion through student associations and faculty-specific communications officers
    • promotion on the WorkopolisCampus bulletin board

The typical employer presentation consists of a 1½ hour session, including a company presentation, followed by a question and answer period.
