Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

Have you ever wondered what type of career might be most satisfying for you? Do you struggle to know what is most important to you? The MBTI can help determine your preferences in a variety of situations in order to help you discover what type of work, environment and activities would best suit you.

The MBTI uses four dichotomous scales to assess your personality:
  • Introvert/Extrovert: Do you think first, speak later or think out loud?
  • Sensing/Intuition: Do you see things as they are or as they might be?
  • Thinking/Feeling: Do you base your decisions on facts or values?
  • Judging/Perceiving: Do you prefer to plan or go with the flow?
Knowing your preferences on these scales can help you to
  • Choose environments in which you feel comfortable.
  • Understand your unique contributions to teams.
  • Learn how to communicate more effectively, based on your own type and that of others.
Please note:
  • The MBTI assess preferences; it does not measure skills or aptitudes.
  • There are no “good” and “bad” MBTI types. Each type brings its own unique strengths and areas for growth.
